Siege

I don't intend for EoH to be a major Siege site (at least not unless I can actually get to play it some day), but here are some links & materials:
  • Kor Skarn's Siege guide, on Siege, the HexenWorld center for Siege stuff. This is the main guide for Siege map-making.
  • Basic Entity Tutorials, including Siege stuff.
  • Some instructions for setting up a Siege server and looped-back client for testing maps, and making minimal Siege maps for entity-testing.
  • A Quark 5 add-on for Siege, based mostly on Kor Skarn's investigations, and incorporating his guide into its help-system. This will hopefully be revised before too long, when he can steal enough time from Real Life to write up his new findings.
  • The Entity Lump from Siege.bsp.
  • An Entity List from Siege.bsp, with all the fields.

Heretic II

Here is some Heretic II stuff I've been putting together. Watch this space for more.
  • New Hr2 Entity Tutorial Page. Only flamethrowers for now, but it's a start.
  • HTML-ized zip of the Heretic II entity information from the source-code, with alphabetical and group indexes.
  • The current version of my Heretic II support for Quark 5. This is likely to be somewhat more recent that what's on the Quark site, because I fiddle with it frequently.
  • A preliminary Entity set for Qoole. It's very rough, in fact it might not even work; I'm not a Qoole user, but made it by adapting the PERL script I use for making Quark5 entity support. If you want to help me make it better, send me email.

  • Phayyde's page on making CTF levels for Hexen 2.
  • The QuArK Quake/ Hexen2/Quake2 editor, with considerable entity information in its help system (similar to Eutectic's, somewhat less tested).
