 Unique
Posted by Darren 'Doom Dude' Finch at 9:19 PM
Category: Quake IV

Here is a small, Quake 4, deathmatch level for 1-1 (2-4) players that's called Unique.
i just started using radiant when Quake 4 came out, did some editing with unrealED before, but just some basic 'testrooms'(had experience with 3ds Max before)...
After looking at the screenshots, the level looks pretty nice for a first map release. The map is on Quake 4 Files.

Mp Catacombs 2 is a multiplayer level for Soldier Of Fortune 2.
The map has an underground section made up from catacombs and an underground Tube station. The map is very well lit and could of done with some spooky sounds when walking around the catacombs

 Talons No Force Weapon Pack
Posted by Darren 'Doom Dude' Finch at 9:49 PM
Category: Jedi Knight 2: Jedi Outcast

Jedi Knight Files has this Talons No Force ~ Weapon Pack that makes all the weapons black, with neon lines. The mod is for Jedi Outcast and currently the screenshots on the site seem to be down so it's a bit hard to see what they look like. Hopefully they fix that soon.

Posted by Darren 'Doom Dude' Finch at 9:32 PM
Category: Star Wars Jedi Knight: Jedi Academy

If you're in need of a Free For All, then maybe you should check out Tatooine Village by SoiL for Jedi Academy.
This map is based purely on ideas I got from when I made Tatooine Falcon.
If you happen to want the author's other map then here is Tatooine Falcon. That's all on Lucas Files.

Tantive IV - Blockade Runner v1
Posted by Darren 'Doom Dude' Finch at 5:29 PM
Category: Star Wars Jedi Knight: Jedi Academy

Over on Lucas Files there's a FFA level for Jedi Academy called Tantive IV - Blockade Runner v1.
This is my interpretation of the interior of the Tantive IV Rebel Blockade Runner, the Corellian Corvette seen at the beginning of A New Hope and also in Revenge Of The Sith. I have tried to include every angle we see on film in both movies and also I have extended past this, to the rest of the ship, to show what it could be like.
That's all on Lucas Files.

He recently updated his Code Fortress site with some comments about game art and photorealistic game worlds, plus some other bits and if you read his earlier posts you get to see what he thinks about Bethesda's Oblivion. So check that stuff out.

 Free For All In Doomed!
Posted by Darren 'Doom Dude' Finch at 10:12 PM
Category: Star Wars Jedi Knight: Jedi Academy

Jenova*Rebirth* released a FFA map for Jedi Academy that has this whole Doom 3 theme going on. The reviewer sayeth:
I'd imagine most people here have played, or at least heard of, Doom3. Widely acclaimed as one of the scariest games ever, Jenova *Rebirth* has attempted to bring its style into Jedi Academy and although I'm afraid we'll have to resign ourselves to the fact that Jedi Academy is not Doom3, all technical comparisons with the D3 engine aside, I have to say, Jenova has given it a pretty good shot.
Capture that Doomed map on Jedi Knight Files.

Summon fire balls to fight! How it works? use it like saber. but dosen't look like saber at all. You have to figure out the rest. There are 5 colors you can chose, and from 1 to maximum 8 fire balls you can call. You can dual some of them as well for more fire balls.
That's on PC Gamemods.

 Saber White, Gold and Others.Dual
Posted by Darren 'Doom Dude' Finch at 10:07 PM

Here is a neat looking Jedi Academy mod that adds new saber colors without replacing the original colors. The new colors are silver, pink, light blue, cherry, and gold. Check out Saber White, Gold and Others.Dual that is made by Timskiy. By the way it looks like you have to type in the console in order to get the colors, just so you know.

 Fragbase X
Posted by Darren 'Doom Dude' Finch at 10:16 PM
Category: Voyager: Elite Force

Check out this CTF map for Elite Force but first the description:
Standard ctf map using a mix of "old style" & futuristic textures/effects. Two opposing bases each housing the flag, multiple routes of travel between the bases. The map is pretty awesome, one of the better maps which have been submitted lately. The layout is very well done as well as the brushwork, I was unable to find any bugs. There's an fps problem near the area portal but that's not uncommon. Loads of things to discover and it's pretty fun, even with 12 players since the map is big enough to support that ammount.
Grab Fragbase X off of Elite Force Files.

 Devils Raven
Posted by Darren 'Doom Dude' Finch at 12:00 AM
Category: Soldier of Fortune II: Double Helix

Devils Raven is a multiplayer level for Soldier Of Fortune 2.
This map is based on the original "Raven Offices" map only this is very very different. Gone has the snow most of the internal walls and offices. Instead you now have a totally different map, and fun it is too. The map supports Dm, TDm and CTF game types. It will host 12-20 players.
Check that out on Soffiles.

 VX1 Mod Pack
Posted by Darren 'Doom Dude' Finch at 4:58 PM
Category: Jedi Knight 2: Jedi Outcast

The VX1 Mod Pack is for Jedi Oucast and it changes the saber blade, the CTF flag, and the trip mines.
I tested this in both Jedi Outcast and Jedi Academy, and only the saber worked for both.
That is all on Jedi Knight Files.

Mos Espa Outskirts v2 - Fixed
Posted by Darren 'Doom Dude' Finch at 7:44 PM
Category: Star Wars Jedi Knight: Jedi Academy

I haven't been on Lucas Files in ages due to the fact that I forgot about the site. Anyhow I was looking at Mos Espa Outskirts v2 - Fixed which is a FFA level for Jedi Academy.
The outskirts of Mos Espa Spaceport, haven to smugglers from every corner of the galaxy. This map is not set in one particular time frame from the saga, but rather a glimpse at life in the port in general, with many vehicles to be explored and places to be found. This is a fixed version of v2, which addresses a shader problem (opaque glass meant to be transparent).
Check that out on Lucas Files.

 Padme Amidala - Episode II
Posted by Darren 'Doom Dude' Finch at 8:40 PM
Category: Star Wars Jedi Knight: Jedi Academy

Liberty Ashford released Padme Amidala - Episode II which is a model for Jedi Academy.
For those of you who have been waiting for a model of Padme in Episode Two, your wait is over! Liberty Ashford has given us a splendid model of Padme in her Episode Two white outfit. It comes in three different styles. Padme with her cape, Padme without her cape, and a scratched Padme. It also has two different heads for Padme. A clean one and a dirty one, although it's hard to tell the difference.
Check out Padme Amidala - Episode II over on Jedi Knight Files.

 Cin Dralling Final
Posted by Darren 'Doom Dude' Finch at 9:49 PM
Category: Star Wars Jedi Knight: Jedi Academy

Don Tom released the final version of his Cin Drallig skin for Jedi Academy.
As before, there are the movie and video game variants, but no lightsaber hilt this time, sa it was causing problems on a couple of fronts. I've also updated the sounds, they are now better quality all around. Please see the readme file for info on npcs and hidden skins. Hope everyone likes this skin as much as I do. Enjoy!
That is all on PC Gamemods.

 [RDAM] Big Bedroom
Posted by Darren 'Doom Dude' Finch at 11:27 PM
Category: Soldier of Fortune

Not often do we see levels released for the first Soldier of Fortune so here is [RDAM] Big Bedroom.
Have you ever been told not to jump on your bed? Or not to leave things like empty shell casings laying around your room? Well, for the price of a download, you can do all of the things that you wanted to do in your room when you were growing up...ok, maby not everything, but just about. This map is a conversion of a Counter Strike map, the origional map is de_rats3_v2. This map is optimal for 2-12 players.

 Sub Terra
Posted by Darren 'Doom Dude' Finch at 10:10 PM
Category: Quake IV

Over on Quake 4 Files geit released a deathmatch level (his first entry in the Fragarcade mapping competition) that is called Sub Terra.
It is a rather large Tourney map but can also hold up to 4on4 TDM games. TDM and Tourney have seperate item placement schemes.
Check that out on Quake 4 Files.

 Morden (v1)
Posted by Darren 'Doom Dude' Finch at 10:04 PM
Category: Soldier of Fortune II: Double Helix

Valkia released a Soldier of Fortune II map that is called Morden (v1) and is designed for multiplayer.
There is plenty of places to explore here in this map, some good sniper spots also. The map supports Dm, TDm, CtF, Infi, and Elimination game types, players I would suggest about 20 ish max.
That is on Soffiles.
