Lt. Cmdr. Salinga released another map again. This one is called Jul20 and is made for Elite Force in Tourney 1v1 game mode. The design I found quite interesting and balanced. It has a top level and a bottom level, both with portals leading to the opposite level. In the center of the map there is a pit (not a bottomless one) which is probably the most open part of the map, considering the best way to victory with this would probably be stealth. That level is available thanks to Elite Force Files.

phonock put together a skin for Jedi Academy that is based on The Clown Prince of Crime. This is a reskin of the Agent Smith Model by Jora Custov which you can find here Clicky! For a Reskin i must admit its pretty good. The Author of this Clown of Crime has a particularly inventive mind when it comes to faces. As he states he's not trying to make the Dark Knight Joker but a sort of fusion between the dark knight ones and the others. Take a look at The Clown Prince of Crime over on Jedi Knight Files.

Lt. Cmdr. Salinga released another map. This one is made for small deathmatches and 1vs1 tournaments in Elite Force and goes by the title Neon Light.t has a good amount of levels and corridors to run through, as well as various places for cover and hiding, it is a bit closed as well as open depending on how you see it. I quite liked the various amount of doorways levels it had myself. That map is available on Elite Force Files.

I was poking around to see if any other info has surfaced about Wolfenstein or Singularity but found nothing new, however it appears that Raven is also working on X-Men Origins: Wolverine. Dunno how I missed that, but this Gamespot article mentions the three titles Raven is working on.Beginning first with Activision's Marvel line, the publisher said today that Raven has been tasked with development duties on X-Men Origins: Wolverine. I spotted that on Gamespot. I'm slow but I blame it on the damned high humidity. I hate this kind of weather... hot and muggy. I want Fall, not this crap.

Jose Carlos released a saber mod for Jedi Academy that is called Twin Wolves. Both hilts have some nice patterning on the main body of the hilt, and as you can see from the screenshots below, the emitter where the saber blade emits from is shaped like the head of a wolf! The part in particular I was very impressed with as the detail is very good and makes these hilts very unique. Have a look at Twin Wolves on Jedi Knight Files.

Lt. Cmdr. Salinga is back again with a map called East Berlin Roofs which is made for deathmatch in Voyager Elite Force. This is a fairly large map set above the city skyline of a well built up industrial city. The large number of hiding places and vantage points presents an interesting challenge for any game and will no doubt be the source of enjoyment. Personally the map reminded me of derelict buildings from older Comics or computer games. You can grab that map on Elite Force Files.

If you ever wanted a LotR Sword Pack for Jedi Academy, now you can easily get one off of Jedi Knight Files due to Rapp_Scallion putting it all together.- Sting (regular Sting and orc-blue Sting): When not doing a concert tour or recording an album, Sting liked to transform into a sword and help a hairy-footed midget kill orcs. This, as with the Hadhafang, looks incredibly accurate, textures simply sublime. Check out that LotR Sword Pack.

I meant to post this yesterday but I got busy with other stuff, so here it is now..... the Wolfenstein E3 2008: Exclusive Debut Teaser!!!! Look for the "Watch in HD" button if you want to view the bigger version. That's all on GamesTrailers. Sooo the game is no longer being called Return To Castle Wolfenstein 2.... it's just Wolfenstein? Perhaps we assumed it would be called RTCW2 because it was announced as a sequel to the first RTCW... hard to remember. Anyhow this is certainly Interesting.

Here is a bit of cool news!!! I was on IGN and spotted that Raven Software has announced they are working on a new IP called Singularity. One of the big surprises at Activision's E3 2008 press conference was the unveiling of Raven Software's interesting new first-person game, Singularity. Details were scarce but we know it's about a fracture in time. The trailer showed detailed industrial seaside locals, flashing between different time periods. In one scene a bridge would be pristine, the next instant it would be decrepit. We also saw an area of the docks looking fine before being transformed into a flooded wasteland a second later. Here is the link to the Singularity Trailer. Pretty cool news!

Lt. Cmdr. Salinga is back with the release of Sunset Isle which is a deathmatch map for Voyager Elite Force.Inspired by computer game "Dreamfall: The Longest Journey," Sunset Isle appears as a small traditional style village - possibly comparable to Maquis Colonies in Star Trek Deep Space Nine. Nicely sized and with an interesting potential towards gameplay. Sunset Isle comes as a recommended download and is most definitely a worthy addition to your map collection. That map is on Elite Force Files.

- B.J. Blazkowicz making comeback, this time also having supernatural powers of his own.
- Set in one large city, which will open itself up as you progress through given missions and quests.
- Randomly generated content blocking your path at times.
- AI controlled local resistance, assisting you in fight at times.
- An alternative reality called "The Shroud", some sort of a parallel dimension fueling Nazi powers.
The game will be using the id tech 5 engine, is being developed for PC, Xbox360 and PS3 and will be released when it's done....

Over on Kotaku they figure that the New Wolfenstein Game will probably be shown at E3. Although Raven hasn't said anything, Spike TV sent out a press release that Kotaku quotes from:Buried amongst the hype and hyperbole, however, is some newsy stuff! Stuff like this: "Also, tune in for more world exclusive surprises including something special from id Software and Raven Software". Seeing as we've known for some time that Raven are currently working on the latest entry in id's Wolfenstein series, it seems a safe bet we'll be seeing something about the game during next week's festivities. I certainly hope to see RTCW2 make an appearance at E3 this year! Go Raven!

Data079 uploaded his Wooden Weapons Mod to Elite Force Files but decided to not include any screenshots (maybe he forgot or had to leave in a hurry due to a cylon attack). Normally I don't post if there's no screens, unless it's a utility or something like that. Most people, myself included, don't download stuff if there's no screenshots, when the file is a skin or a map, otherwise it's like shooting blanks, so to speak. In this case though, -Hummel of Elite Force Files says it's worth checking out and the review guys on there are pretty fair in judgement. As the file name suggests, the Wooden Weapons pack givesa handful of weapons a nice wooden finish and looks quite good if you want my opinion. Hit Elite Force Files or not. It's up to you.

If you hit the Zero Barrier page you can read more, including a list of features. We can also expect to see some new screenshots and video clips soon, plus more info on the storyline, characters and multiplayer modes. Advent_Oni gave Jan a new coat of paint and released this file called Oni's Jan for Jedi Academy. Here is a bit of what ~Nozyspy~ has to say about the skin. Now, although Oni hasn’t actually given Jan ‘new’ textures, he has certainly given her a new coat of paint! And personally I think that the new colour scheme is a nice improvement over the default one. The changes aren’t major, however the overall effect is very noticeable. Gone are the light coloured clothes that she wore before, replaced with a much more ‘mercenary’ looking outfit. The clothing is much darker and the colours have been changed, which as I said above, looks better than the original in my opinion. So take a peek at Oni's Jan over on Jedi Knight Files.

DarthStevenus released a duel map for Jedi Academy that goes by the name, The Animatrix: Training DojoThe second time warp brought me back to the old memories of the Animatrix movie...compilation. As such, I recall the Final Flight of the Osiris piece. This duel map represents the rather sensuous opening scene between the two duelists whose names evade me. Accuracy wise, I'm not sure the author could have gone too astray, given how most of the matrix dojos seem roughly the same. That map is available on Jedi Knight Files.
