 Although the skyline may look the same, you are on a cliff overlooking the maw of hell itself. Go to the end of the ledge on your left, pick up the bow and cross over to the other end of the ledge, killing Gargoyles as you go. It is doubtful you'll need the Gauntlets by this point, but there they are again if you need them.
 Jump down into the scorching floor of hell and run across the little islands, picking up crystal vials on each to help replinish your health. Turn around to see the narrow stairs to the ledge on the other side. Run up to greet the Undead Warriors and finish them of with the aid of the Tome of Power you find at the end of the ledge. Replinish your health if need be, flip the switch and enter the portal.
The door behind where you began has opened, to reveal a room full of green pods. Shoot the explosive pods to clear the room, run in and flip the switch on the other side before they regenerate. Go through the door that opens, turn around and shoot the pods some more, to kill the Golems as they make their way from either of the side rooms that opened up.
Turn around to face (literally) the Iron Liches, who attack you with tornados and powerful blue blasts as you jump down to do battle. Use all of the items you find at your disposal, including a trusty Morph Ovum in the middle of the island of this scorchy hell arena. Run along the outside edge picking up items and use your Wings of Wrath to do aerial assault on all of the Disciples of D'Sparil and Golems who attack you from the opened cave on the other side of the arena.
After all enemies have been vanquished, replenish your health and enter the scorching cave of hell. Ride the lift on the other side and flip the blue exit switch at the top.
