SKULL HUNTERS - GRINBOT EDITION

Introduction
This is my first attempt at integrating the latest Grinbots into an existing MOD. I chose Skull Hunters
as this is one of my all time favourites. Things worked out pretty well. Combining the two source codes
took me about 2hrs, then I spent a further couple of hours designing some AI to deal with the mod-specific
gameplay. This AI is quite simple, but it works. They will collect heads, and try to cash them in
once they have collected a certain (random) number. If they have a choice of enemies to attack, they
will attack the enemy with the most heads. This was really just a test, but it has worked so well that
they deserve to be released. I will work on their AI more in the future, and incorporate any future changes I
make to the bots. I'm also going to put an instagib version of the bots together soon, and I may also combine
Instagib with Skull hunters for some real madness.
Installation
- Download and install Grinbots
V0.9.
- Download and install the Skull Hunters client files (see the skull hunters readme).
- Download the
Skull Hunters Grinbot Edition server files and extract into
your skull hunters directory.
- Start Heretic2 using +set game sh +set deathmatch 1
- Have fun
