"I have seen it. There has been a great disturbance in the heavens. One night in my observatory I was looking upon the stars when I saw a great incantation far to the south, beyond the Forgotten City of Ice. The High Priestess, who saw it as well, and I agreed a fortnight ago to dispatch a handful of scouts to learn of the origin of the sorcery, only to find them return a week later, unable to go beyond the southern most harbor. The citizens there refused to allow anyone to cross the Straits of D'sparil to the Forgotten City of Ice, apprehensive of a divine consequence.

The flashes in the sky have become worse. Images can be seen in the midst of twilight, causing panic in the homes of peaceful Andoria. They appear more often, now having gained the attention of Silverspring, and both the far northern cities of Vorn and Thurge. Days ago, a peaceful wandering Caurthorian entered my observatory, frightened, for his village on Harpie Isle was destroyed by a plunging ball of flame. When the survivers examined the remnants of their village, they found objects of quandary, not of Parthoris.

Corvus, the slayer of D'sparil, and ridder of Morcalivin's plague, has acquiesced to make the journey and learn of the source of this bizarre phenomenon. Tales are heard from the southern harbor of sights of eccentric beings seen across the strait. Whoever or whatever they may be, I bid Corvus farewell, for his quest may be ill-fated."
