The Palace of Emperor Egg Chen

Before entering the first archway in the room you begin, step toward it and look back up to the left of the door where a button hides high on a column (Image 1). Shoot the button to open a stone panel in the room (Image 2). This will lead to a small area below some ramps with a pool of water and a switch at one end (Image 3). Throw the switch to open a door above, then dive into the water, break the crack and find a Ring of Turning (Secret #1/Image 4). Surface where you got the ring to take a breath (non-Paladins) and then return to the main pool and jump out, returning to the start of the level. Level 4 Players will have to go the long way, jumping off the bridge to this door as they approach it to get to the switch, then retracing steps to the door.

The Vajra Scepter

Go through the archway now, then right into a room with three squat slanted pillars. Spiders are above you, so I suggest you kill them now (Image 1). Go left to leave the room, then make a left up the stairs into a room with two stone dogs on either side of a staircase leading to an ornate door (Image 2). Shooting these stone dogs will reveal not only a cool animation, but also a Quartz flask for each (Secret #2/Images 3). Go up the stairs between where the dogs were, then through the archway to the right, then through another archway to your right to go through the hallway with the spiders you saw from below a few minutes ago. Enter the door at the end, stop and look left at the sunken relief in the wall (Image 4), then face it and back up slowly until it opens (Image 5 watch out for the Yak around the corner behind you now, this is a "sandwich" trap). Grab the goodies behind the open relief and leave it, going forward, then left, then right through an archway to a bridge that leads to the door you opened at the hidden pool below (Image 6). This bridge leads into a room with an archway to the left and right, and the Vajra Scepter (Image 7).

The Emperor's Key

Grab the scepter and turn around to face the bridge, then go through the archway to the left, following it to a room with three statues (Image 1). Break all three statues to get a Stone of Summoning (Secret #3/Image 2). Go through the statue room to the end, taking the stairway up left, going around a U shaped hall up more steps, then take a right to cross the balcony over the statue room. Continue and go up the steps left then right to an archway. Through the archway, you can see a switch at the end of a large balcony in the next room (Image 3). Go around the balcony and throw the switch, opening a door below (Image 4). Jump down and go through the open door to grab The Emperor's Key (Image 5).

Gain Access to the Inner Chambers

Leave the key closet and make a left through the archway again, retracing your steps to where you found the Vajra Scepter (Image 1). This time go through the archway to the left as you walk in from the bridge (opposite the way you went last time) and enter the room with the face on the wall straight ahead, the dark panel in the wall to your left, and an ornate door on the right (Image 2). Shoot a button in the ceiling to open the panel and grab a Tome of Power (Secret #4/Image 3). Now use the Emperor's Key to enter the ornate door (Image 4). Turn right into a room leading down steps into an archway. Shoot the stone dogs to get your flasks (Image 5 & 6), then go down the steps through the archway into a long hall leading left (Image 7) with an exit to the left halfway down, and an exit at the end going right. Go all the way down the hall, exiting right. Go straight across the bridge, through a U shaped hall to a room with a descending spiral staircase (Image 8). Go down the stairs and through the archway, then stop on the middle of the bridge and turn to look down (Image 9). Jump into the water to get a goodie (Secret #5), then go through the open gap at one end of the pool and a teleporter will open (Image 10). Go through the teleporter and you will arrive at a switch (Image 11). Throw the switch to open the exit to the Palace Inner Chambers (Image 12). Leave the switch and go through the archway, across the small bridge you jumped from, back to the long hallway. In the hallway, turn right and take the exit to the Palace Inner Chambers.
