The Courtyards of Tsok

Trap #1--Compactor Stairway

This level is full of lethal traps that mostly call for agility and keen thinking. You start facing the first of these traps: a series of falling blocks above a staircase (Image 1). To survive, just keep running and jumping up until you get through...don't stop! Then throw the switch to secure the blocks from falling (Image 2).

Trap #2--The Falling Ceiling

Where you find the helmet, you can go left or right (Image 1). Go left into a courtyard and you will see a building you can enter (Image 2). DO NOT GO INSIDE YET, THIS IS ANOTHER TRAP! Stand in the doorway and look up, finding the odd patch in the roof (Image 3) Shoot it before entering to break a hole in the ceiling. Now walk in and grab the Krater of Might. The door will shut behind you and trap you, and the ceiling will start to fall (Image 4). Stand under the hole you broke open to survive. Now that the ceiling has become the floor, walk up the stone ramp through the door (Image 5).

Trap #3--The Hall of Light

Go up a stone ramp and go outside to read a sign. The most important part of the sign are the two last words. Go around the outside balcony, through a U-shaped hallway, to the Hall of Light (Image 1). Heed what the sign said, walking around the lights and avoiding them to survive. Once on the other side of the Hall, kill the enemies, then shoot the floor under the pillar of light nearest you and walk carefully to the edge, looking down into the hole. DON'T FALL. Shoot the spikes (Image 2) until they break, then drop down into the hole and go left (or right if you broke the other light hole), down the gold hallway. On the walls of the hallway are the six signs of the Prayer Wheels (Image 3). Take out a notepad and jot down the names with your best drawings of their corresponding images to use later. (See Images of Signs below) At the end of the hall, make a right. Push the sun button to open the door leading into the room containing the Sixth Prayer Wheel.

Trap #4--The Sixth Prayer Wheel

As you walk toward the Prayer Wheel (Image 1), a trap of archers will appear on either side of you. Kill them to lower the staircase and access the Sixth Prayer Wheel. From where you grabbed the wheel, go through the archway to your left. Come to a grating where a Ring of Turning awaits. Grab it and go through the grate into a courtyard with two teleporters and a torch (Image 2). Go through the teleporter on your left (the one near the torch) to get a Tome of Power (Secret #1). Walk to the sign behind you to find out the order of the Prayer Wheels (the Images above are in order) and use it to number the symbols on your notepad #1-#6.


The Book of the Dead

Turn around from the sign above and jump down to the courtyard with the two teleporters, going into the one on your right when you're looking off the balcony (the one you didn't take last time). You will be teleported to the roof of another building, able to ambush the Yak (Image 1). Jump down and turn around, entering the building. Walk around either way to a hallway with a pillar (Get close to it. Hear something?) and the five remaining Prayer Wheels (Image 2). Place the Sixth Wheel in its empty place, then hit the buttons in order, 1-6 from your notepad. If you get the message that "Nothing Seemed To Happen", start again from the beginning (Se). Once the sequence is finished, the pillar will open, revealing a teleporter (Image 3). Jump through the teleporter and follow the short hallway to The Book of The Dead (Image 4). Read it and then go out into the room with an exit and two towers (Image 5). Go through the exit to The Temple Kalachakra.
