 Temple of Mars

ollow the corridor until you come to a large open area (Image 1). Go through the wooden door to the left at the bottom of the steps, then go downstairs into a room with lightning protecting a Tome of Power on a pedestal (Image 2). Walk through the lightening to get the Tome and walk over the pedestal to lower a lift in the area. Take the lift to a ledge above and hit the button on the opposing wall. Go down the hall to the left of the button to an alcove overlooking the pendulum blades (Image 3--Edgar would be proud). Press the button in the alcove and return across the catwalk to the opposite doorway, into a room with a wizard (Image 4). Take the Sunstone from the altar, then return to the outside area on the ledge.

    Jump down and take the wooden door opposite, following the stairs down to a large room with stairs leading up the center and to an upper ledge (Image 5). Go up the staircase and hit the button at the very top to open doors behind you on the upper ledge. Jump down and grab the glyphs from the rooms on either side of the staircase (Image 6), then go to the door on the left opposite the button at the top of the stairs. This leads to the Mars Room where all your Mars Prizes await. If some seem to be missing, jump on the pedestals anyway and they will appear in your inventory (I guess this is a bug--if you find any more Mars Prizes than the ones I listed, please email me!).

    Return to the main room with the staircase, go left across the upper ledge and enter the door opposite. Go up the stairs, then take the narrow stairs on your left (Image 7). Jump across to get the Icon of Defender (Secret #1/Image 8), then jump back and take the stairs leading up to the alcove and another wizard altar room (Image 9).

    Grab the Shadowstone from his altar, then go to the alcove overlooking the pendulum blades and hit the button to widen the walls around the base of the blades (Image 10). Jump from the barred overlook in the alcove to the pendulum blades, then walk carefully through them to get the three artifacts (Image 11), then continue past the blades to the exit on the other side. You will come to a balcony overlooking a dark courtyard with a statue of Mars (Image 12).

    Jump down, turn around and take the passage under this balcony to another wizard altar room (Image 13). Grab the Voidstone and exit, crossing the courtyard past the statue to the entrance left or right. You'll enter another courtyard with three pedestals around a center stone. Place the Sun, Shadow and Voidstones on the pedestals (Image 14) and watch the center stone open. Jump down into it to meet the toughest Horseman, War.
