alk across Blackmarsh's outside area, through the cave and across the bridge into the Wizard's Lab. Walk into the lava pit to make the Potion of Mithril Transmutation (Image 1). Grab the potion and take it to Barbican.
In Barbican, go past the fort wall, around to the castle and jump in the moat again, going through the cracked grate. Go into the first opening on the right, up, through the cracked wall and back up the stairs to the immediate left outside the door to the small wooden door. Go past the hidden passage to the Ballista, into the closed door straight ahead. Find the lever to lower the drawbridge (Image 2), walk into the adjoining room with the cauldron and Tome of Power. Kill the enemies through the wooden grate, then drop through the crack in the corner.
Exit the cell and take the hallway left to a room with a broken staircase. Push a barrel to the highest point in the break and use it to get up the stairs (Image 3). Enter a room on the left with a Wizard looking at a closed window. Kill the wizard, then destroy his desk and walk over the floorplate, opening the darkened wall to the left (Secret #1/Image 4). Grab goodies but DO NOT climb the steps in this secret area. Simply return to the Wizard's study and walk toward the window to open it. Let the spiders drown, then jump into the water below and swim right toward the Mithril Wall (Image 5). Turn it to wood by approaching it and applying the potion. Break the wood to get the castle key. Don't miss the Ring of Water Breathing at the end of the pool (Image 6).
Leave the castle key, swimming left through the iron door that opens. Return to the start area moat, jump up and cross the drawbridge, go through the market area and then right to the ramp leading to the Castle or King's Court (Image 7). VERY IMPORTANT!!!!! When you enter the King's Court, there is an open area with a large pillar in the center (Image 8). Go LEFT around this pillar and into the archway on the opposite side (Image 9) and defeat the Golem, then enter the Butcher's shop under the MEAT sign. DO NOT VEER FROM THIS AT ALL!! DO NOT go around the pillar right toward the magical barrier protected entrance, and do not pass the archway and go toward the barrier once you are around the pillar.
Another note on the King's Court: You may go to any Shop and defeat enemies/grab goodies, but certain items and places will be inaccessible until you follow the order of the walkthrough. Now leaving the butcher's shop, go right at the 4-way intersection until you find the entrance to the Stables (Image 10), enter.
