 Pyramid of Anubis

o up the ramp behind you for glyphs, then down the ramp and through the door. Turn left and head down a ramp through a door to the snake fountain (Image 1). Go left at the fountain and then left again to the stone door. Go through the door, going up to the barred doorway on the immediate right to open it. Enter and place the gem on the plate in front of the square pillar (Image 2), breaking the pillar and preparing the gem for cutting. Press the four buttons on the sides of the pillar to cut the gem, then jump and grab the Serpent's Eye Gem (Image 3).

    Leave the room and go left straight down the hall to a door on the left. Go through and walk down the steps left, placing the Serpent's Eye Gem on the pedestal to lift the bridge (Image 4). Walk across the bridge to wake the Giant Cobra, back up and destroy him, then grab the Hapy Canopic Jar where he was.

    Leave and go left in the hall to the snake fountain, then right up the ramp. Turn and hop across the RIGHT three pillars to the mural above the ramp, breaking it open (Image 5). Enter and go down into a large room with four pillars around a red carpet (Image 6). Avoid the carpet and walk around it until you find the bloody handprint on the wall (Image 7). Look behind you to your left, up high at the scepter. Press against the bloody hand wall until you see an ankh button on the right. Press to lower the Dark Pharaoh's Scepter in the room (Image 8). Grab the scepter and go to the bottom edge of the red carpet (face the bloody handprint wall). Jump to get the Icon of Defender and fall on the opposite side from where you jumped to avoid the spikes below.

    Follow the tunnel up, then take the ascending tunnel on the left and follow the short hall around right, down steps to a stone door on the left. Enter and walk through the illusionary wall on the right, in the corner near the dead body (Image 9). Climb the stairs, push the bloody handprint wall, then go straight down the ramp to the door and go outside. Climb the steep high slope of sand on the right (Image 10) to the three panels and press them in this order: middle, left, right. Drop into the coffin and take the stairs down, then go left through the hall with recessed reliefs and vases. Break the left vase for a Tome of Power (Secret #1).

    Continue into a room with a beam going across another area below (Image 11). Grab the glyph and let the beam break, then fall into the area below. Move two of the three-banded barrels onto the two floorplates to open the door between them (Image 12). Go through this door and up the stairs through another door. Walk up to the Bust of Anubis in the pillar of light to place the Dark Pharaoh's Scepter. Grab the urn in the corner, then go up the new ramp on the other side of the bust and through the door. Hop up on the left and grab the Duamutef Canopic Jar, then go across to the barred doorway and it will open.

    Go through the illusionary wall and up the stairs, make a right to the snake fountain, then a left at the fountain and a right at the top of the ramp to return to the red teleporter leading to the Temple of Horus, enter. Take a right at the floor ankh to enter the red teleporter leading to Palace of the Pharaoh. Go up the tube on the right again and swim through the bird door straight ahead underwater. Go left to the cracked wall by the two statues and break it out. Enter and take your first right, U-turn to a red wall up a ramp (Image 13).

    Walk up to the wall to open it and then jump behind the statues to grab the Krater of Might and hit the floorplate, opening a door above. Jump right into the water and swim through the same tunnel, this time going straight up a ramp toward a blue teleporter. Go past the blue teleporter if you wish to a ledge where you can jump for Repulsion Discs over the water (Secret #2). Return to the blue teleporter and enter to return to the start area of the level. Go upstairs and follow the hall right then left to a room with another Bust of Anubis (Image 14). Break the bust to open the wall behind it for goodies (Secret #3).

    Leave the secret room and go across the main room up the ramp opposite. You'll enter a room with two doors ahead: an open doorway on the right and a locked one on the left. Enter the open doorway, through a short hall, to a throne room (Image 15). Walk along either side of the room, not the center, and get to the throne. On the back of the squat pillar to the left of the throne is a button (Image 16). Hop up to press it and slide the throne back.

    Walk down the ramp under the throne to get the Pharaoh's Key and an urn. Leave the throne room and return to the closed doorway. Enter now with your key and grab the Tome of Power by the bed, then go down to the bath pool. Strike the scarab button on the left wall over the pool and open a passage (Image 17). Take the passage to the Burial Chamber of the Dark Pharaoh, then go left down the ramps to where the boat waits (Image 18).

    Go through the door on your left, up the ramps to the collection of vases and jars (Image 19). Break the vases and grab the Qebhsenuef Canopic Jar, then go back down the ramps to the boat. Place the 4 Canopic Jars on the 4-tiered pedestal (Image 20) to enable the boat for a trip. Jump on the boat, then as it moves, fall in the water to get health vials. At the boat trip's end, climb out, up the stairs to the red teleporter leading to the Temple of Light, enter.


3 Secrets; Objective Order: Cut the Serpent's Eye Gem. Get the Hapy Canopic Jar. Get the Dark Pharaoh's Scepter. Get the Duamutef Canopic Jar. Get the Pharaoh's Key. Get the Qebhsenuef Canopic Jar. Ride the Boat of the Dark Pharaoh's Burial Chamber to the Temple of Light.
